The Palms at Crown
A spectacular show certainly deserves a spectacular venue and The Palms at Crown delivers just that. The old Showroom at Crown has been given a $1 million face-lift and makeover and has emerged as a dazzling new entertainment venue called The Palms at Crown. Revamped and re-styled, the multi-layered auditorium seats 800 and offers cabaret-style tables at stage front, intimate crescent-shaped booths and intimate balcony tables. Sightlines and sound have been dramatically improved and all patrons have uninterrupted views of the performance stage. The floor space has been raised and tiered to bring the artists even closer to the audience.
The atmosphere is sparkling and exciting in an intimate and classy cabaret venue. The effect is created through the use of rich deep blues, silver and gold and high gloss cocktail tables with stylish cabaret table lamps for warmth and intimacy. The Palms at Crown theme has been realised via colour, shape and subtle overlays including lighting effects, upholstery and other minor décor embellishments. The new lounge and bar area is made for a pre-show cocktail and patrons can buy drinks and light snacks at the bar and enjoy them back at their table while a show is on.
With its stylish finish and fantastic stage views, The Palms at Crown is sure to become one of Melbourne's great entertainment venues.
